Corruption spreading has been an integral part of Terraria ever since it was released in 2011. It makes little sense to me to have made such a feature toggle-able, let alone optional back then, when even the notion of modders was a far away dream. S.. Corruption spreading terraria

Apr 15, 2017 · It's ok. Like seriously, if you have a bad world generation and Corruption/Crimson will spawn next to the jungle, you can't save the jungle. And this is a huge problem, considering how useful jungle is. Corruption on hardmode spreads so quickly, and not only spreads, it also turns mud into dirt, so you can't use Clentaminator! . Not only does it make navigating them easier, that 3-block width also applies to diagonals.So for corruption to spread it needs a corruptible block within 3 blocks of a corrupted block.
